The mass entertainer, responsible for the cultural work, the partymaker, the happiness manager… There are so many names for a specialist in corporate culture and internal communications! More often than not, our work seems to be an endless holiday, with cake and fireworks! Well, that is partly true, at least. In different companies, the functions of such a specialist vary greatly depending on the tasks at hand, the leadership style, and the team. Corporate culture is part of any organization, but it needs to be understood, felt, properly directed, and adapted to the needs of the business. If a team finds a the right corporate culture specialist, then life in the company will never be the same again! Indeed, it’s hard to ignore (and don’t bother trying) the almost daily bulletins with news, invitations, and notices of upcoming events, and it’s hard not to notice a vibrant corporate magazine or hear colleagues discussing recent team-building events! NANOLEK has a rich corporate culture. In addition to all of the above, we organize sports activities, manage pages on social networks, set up charity events or a Championship program, devise and implement theme-based events (such as the “Healthy Lifestyle”), celebrate birthdays, and much more. I write “we” because, despite the fact that I am the only corporate culture specialist, I have many assistants among my colleagues, to whom I am really grateful! What qualities should a specialist in corporate culture and internal communications possess? It is certainly important to have organizational skills, creativity, curiosity, and a desire and ability to find inspiration! However, the most important thing, in my opinion, is that a happiness specialist should love people in general and their colleagues in particular. After all, people always want to bring happiness to their loved ones!
