Indications

Active immunization for the prevention of poliomyelitis.1

Age of Use

For children from 2 months of age and adults.1

Vaccination Schedule

  • The first, second, and third poliomyelitis vaccinations are administered to children at 3, 4.5, and 6 months of age using inactivated polio vaccines.
  • The first booster dose at 18 months is given with an inactivated vaccine; the second and third booster doses are administered with the live oral poliomyelitis vaccine.
  • Children from risk groups receive the second and third booster doses with the inactivated vaccine.1
