The Government of the Kirov Region and the biopharmaceutical company Nanolek have signed a cooperation agreement in the social and economic sphere. The document outlines key areas of joint work in biotechnology, social infrastructure, employment, and education.
The agreement was signed by Mikhail Sandalov, Chairman of the Government of the Kirov Region, and Evgeny Barinov, CEO of Nanolek.
“Biopharma is one of the most important areas for us. It is reflected in our Strategy for Socio-Economic Development. Nanolek is not only developing its core business, but also acting as a reliable social partner. The company not only supports many initiatives, but also serves as their driving force. I believe such cooperation should become an example for other enterprises as well. We have already successfully implemented one such agreement, and now it is time to build our future partnership. We highly appreciate Nanolek’s contribution both professionally and socially,” said Mikhail Sandalov.
The parties approved an action plan for the development of social infrastructure in the Orichevsky municipal district. The plan includes preparation of applications for major renovations of the secondary school and the Skazka kindergarten in Levintsy, as well as career guidance activities for schoolchildren involving company specialists.
A separate section of the agreement focuses on transport infrastructure: road conditions along employee bus routes will be assessed, and roads leading to the Nanolek Biomedical Complex are planned for repair.
The parties also intend to participate in projects aimed at creating a more comfortable urban environment in the settlements of Levintsy and Strizhi. The company plans to purchase equipment for cultural and public events and transfer it to municipal cultural institutions in the Orichevsky district.
“Our production site has been located in Levintsy for many years, and we see it as much more than just a point on the map. The agreement with the regional government is our way of saying that we are here for the long term and are ready to invest in improving the quality of life around us. This year alone, we will allocate around 4 million rubles to social projects in the Orichevsky district,” noted Evgeny Barinov. As part of the agreement, Nanolek will continue implementing investment projects at its production site in Levintsy, including the development of facilities for manufacturing modern vaccines, particularly the first Russian vaccine for the prevention of HPV.
The company’s social activities in the Orichevsky district are carried out on a systematic basis. Nanolek supports local educational institutions — the secondary school, the Skazka kindergarten, and the children’s art school in Levintsy — by upgrading facilities and creating more comfortable conditions for children. The company also supports the orphanage in the village of Spas-Talitsa. Another important area is cooperation with the charity organization Dorogoyu Dobra, which supports families raising children with disabilities.
