A photograph featuring Nanolek employee Marina Vorobyova has won first place in the national photo contest Women in the Health Industry in the Heart of Manufacturing category. The award ceremony took place during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as part of the business program at the Eurasian Women’s Forum pavilion.
The winning photograph portrays Marina Vorobyova, a Quality Control Specialist at Nanolek’s Chemical and Analytical Laboratory. The image was recognized as the best entry in the Heart of Manufacturing category, dedicated to professionals responsible for critical production processes, product quality control, and laboratory research.
The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Elena Stukun, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs at Nanolek. “Today, the Russian pharmaceutical industry faces ambitious objectives under the Pharma 2030 Strategy. Yet behind every government program stand real people. And if manufacturing is the heart of our industry, it beats largely thanks to the women who work every day in laboratories, production facilities, and research centers. This award recognizes their professionalism, dedication, and contribution to the development of national healthcare,” said Elena Stukun.
Marina Vorobyova works in Nanolek’s Chemical and Analytical Laboratory as a Quality Control Specialist. Her responsibilities cover all stages of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw material testing to final quality control of finished pharmaceutical products. The corporate photo session organized for the competition was conducted on behalf of Nanolek by Kirov-based photographer Maria Kharunzheva.
The national photo contest Women in the Health Industry is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and covers the pharmaceutical, medical, cosmetics, and perfumery industries. More than 200 submissions from 74 companies across Russia were received.
