Biopharmaceutical company NANOLЕК has completed another stage of supplies of the Pentaxim combination vaccine under a government contract three months ahead of schedule. A total of 1.15 million doses of the vaccine have been delivered to Russian regions.

Under the terms of the contract, this stage was due to be completed by 1 November 2026. In fact, the entire contracted volume had been delivered by 31 July — three months ahead of schedule.

This is already the second stage of Pentaxim supplies in 2026 that NANOLЕК has completed ahead of schedule. In spring, the company delivered 913,000 doses of the vaccine to Russian regions, completing the previous stage one month ahead of the contractual deadline.

“We have already started the fifth stage of supplies, which covers another 2.68 million doses of Pentaxim. Under the government contract, this stage was not due to begin until 1 November, but in coordination with the Russian Ministry of Health, we started deliveries almost three months earlier. Our next target is to deliver 100% of the annual Pentaxim volume by the end of this year.

Delivering ahead of contractual deadlines enables regions to receive the required vaccine volumes in advance and plan immunisation without being constrained by final delivery deadlines. It is important for us to ensure a stable supply of the vaccine to support implementation of the National Immunisation Schedule,” said Elena Stukun, Deputy CEO for Commercial Operations at NANOLЕК.

Deliveries under the fifth stage will be made to Russian regions in accordance with the requirements approved by the Russian Ministry of Health. A total of 4.75 million doses of Pentaxim are scheduled for delivery under the government contract in 2026.

The vaccine is intended for the immunisation of young children and is one of the core vaccines included in the National Immunisation Schedule. The vaccination course consists of several doses administered during the first years of life and provides protection against tetanus, pertussis, diphtheria, poliomyelitis and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) infection.

Since 2022, Pentaxim has been manufactured at the finished dosage form stage at NANOLЕК’s biomedical complex in the Kirov Region as part of the company’s partnership with Sanofi. Since June 2025, the same facility has also been manufacturing MenQuadfi, a quadrivalent vaccine for the prevention of meningococcal disease, which replaced the previously manufactured quadrivalent Menactra vaccine. More than 1.5 million doses of these meningococcal vaccines have been supplied to the Russian market. In 2026, NANOLЕК and Sanofi mark 10 years of partnership.
